Sometimes a PC can reach a point where it is no longer a viable option to scan, repair and defragment. In these cases, only a complete clean reinstallation of the operating system will solve any problems. Although it is a big step, there are huge benefits, and the PC is returned to its original state. For a PC, nothing is as clean as a clean installation! Britinformatica can provide this service, either with a new copy of Windows XP Home or Pro, or with your own if still have the discs. There are various stages to this task, listed below. 1. Makes copies of all personal data, files, photos, music, etc. If unsure, Britinformatica can help. 2. Make sure you have any CDs of software that you have accquired since the PC was new. 3. Make sure you have the CDs that came with any peripherals, printers, scanners, cameras etc. When those 3 steps are confirmed, the PC is ready for a clean installation. This can be done at your home or office, or the PC can be removed and returned. However, if you have multiple peripherals, printers etc, it is advisable to have the work done without moving the PC. Please allow at least 4 hours for the completion of the work, depending on the speed of the PC. |
